Why we started
Most small businesses in Memphis end up with one of two options. Either they hire a big regional provider and become a number in a holding pattern, or they rely on a neighbor's nephew who's great right up until he takes a full-time job somewhere else.
We built Centerline Networks for the space in between: real managed IT — monitoring, security, backups, and a help desk that knows your name — from a firm where you'll recognize the voice on the other end of the line. Our service desk brings a combined 11 years of experience in the IT industry, which is where you learn which problems repeat, which ones are about to, and how much of the job is just answering the phone like a person.
The name comes from aviation. The centerline is the stripe painted down the middle of the runway, the one that keeps you tracking straight through crosswinds, traffic, and a hundred small corrections you never notice from the cabin. That's the job. You fly the business; we keep it lined up.

David Latta Co-founder
A Memphis native who started out leading teams in the service industry, then moved into IT and brought the same instinct with him — the repair matters, but so does how the customer is treated while it's happening. Over seven years in the field he worked up from desktop deployment specialist to service desk manager, and holds the CompTIA Project+ certification.
Robert Latta Co-founder
A Memphis native and Christian Brothers University graduate who retired from the Marine Corps and now flies commercially. Aviation runs on checklists — the same steps, in the same order, whether it's the first flight of the day or the thousandth — and that's the discipline he brings to the networks and data behind your business.
